Privacy Notice — The Catalog Link

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This notice follows Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). It covers the data of the businesses that buy the service: the pages we publish have no forms and collect no data from their visitors.

Data controller

Verónica Pérez Arroyo, located at Virgen 5552, Arboledas, Zapopan, Jalisco, C.P. 45070, México, reachable at [email protected] ("we").

Data we collect

Directly from you, through Stripe and the intake form hosted on Tally:

  • Identification and contact: name or brand name, email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • About the business: your business name, logo, product photos, product names, descriptions and prices, categories, address and the contact where you take orders (WhatsApp, text or phone)
  • Image-rights statement: you confirm the photos you send are yours or that you hold a license to use them.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers, we only receive payment confirmation and your email.

We use no advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not measure visitors to thecataloglink.com or to the pages we publish.

Purposes

Primary: generate and publish your page, deliver it by email, handle corrections and support, and meet legal and tax obligations. Secondary (optional): send you notices about service improvements. You can opt out by writing to [email protected].

Publication

The business information and photos you send are published on your page, which is public by the nature of the service you buy.

Transfers and processors

We use providers that process data on our behalf and may process it in the United States or other countries: Stripe (payments), Tally (intake form and uploads), Cloudflare (infrastructure and publishing), GitHub (generation and hosting of the code and pages), SendGrid (email) and OpenAI (automatic translation of your page's text into the site's other language). We do not sell your data and do not transfer it to third parties for their own purposes.

Your rights (ARCO)

You may exercise access, rectification, cancellation or objection, and revoke your consent, by writing to [email protected] with your name and the URL of your page. We respond within the timeframes set by the LFPDPPP. You can also use your correction link to update your page.

Retention

We keep your data while your page is published and for as long as legal and tax obligations require. If you request cancellation, we take the page down and delete the data not subject to legal retention.

Minors

The service is intended for businesses and adults; we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
